By downloading or using BookMark ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Use of the App

BookMark is a speed reading and comprehension training app. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
Redistribute or resell content from the app

Accounts

You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or email/password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings.

Subscriptions

BookMark offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("BookMark Pro") that unlock additional features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

BookMark Pro is also available as a one-time lifetime purchase.

Content

Articles imported into BookMark are fetched from their original sources. We do not host or own third-party article content. Books available in the Explore tab are public domain works sourced from Project Gutenberg.

AI Features

BookMark uses AI to generate comprehension quizzes. Quiz questions are generated based on the text you read and are intended for educational purposes. AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

Intellectual Property

Disclaimer

BookMark is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. Reading speed improvements vary by individual.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boxcar Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these terms, your use of the app is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
